The Environmental Working Group published its annual list of farm products from the most “dirty” to “clean”. The most “pesticide” in the list was strawberries, and the sweetest is pepper. However, scientists hasten to assure that absolutely pure vegetables in nature do not exist and it is almost impossible to grow them today. Most fruits and vegetables that fall on store shelves, contain pesticides within normal limits. Most of these substances are found on the product, not in it. And for serious poisoning it is necessary to eat them not one kilogram, or not to adhere to safety during cultivation. Refuse these products also can not, because they contain vital elements. For example, vegetarians eat vegetables, and poisoning among them is rarely seen.
