Scientists have named the reason for the uniqueness of the human brain

Employees of the Massachusetts Institute conducted a study with miniature fragments of the mental organ of people taken from the brain of epileptics.

The participants in the experiment were treated for the disease of the nervous system and donated a small part of themselves, giving it to neurobiologists. Experts took so small fragments of the thinking organ from the subjects that they did not feel anything. Scientists have called the reason for the uniqueness of the human brain is not only a greater number of neurons than animals, but also a completely different functioning of nerve cells. It distinguishes people, for example, from rats. Rodents are far from the most stupid creatures on Earth, but in terms of intelligence they are not able to bear with a man.
According to scientists, the nerve cell can be compared to a tree without foliage. Branches are dendrites – branched processes that receive and transmit signals to other neurons in a miniature proboscis – axon. With the help of such an organization of the nervous system, the impulses from the cells are sent over long distances. With the same number of ion channels in humans, neurons are located farther apart from each other than in rats, and they have better computational abilities than rodents. Together, this makes human nerve cells more independent.
