Scientists: Mars and Venus were a double planet

According to the information of American specialists, earlier Mars had a genuine hydrosphere, as evidenced by the details of the planet's relief. The corresponding conclusions were drawn from the remnants of chemical elements on the space object. This is reported by the League of News.

Also in ancient times, Mars had such a dense atmosphere that prevented the penetration of sunlight.

These studies allowed scientists to assume that Mars and Venus formed in an identical time interval and represented a double planet. However, in due course Mars separated from the Sun, and Venus – approached.
