Search Conference II “Indicators Vocational Education for Sustainable Development {iBBnE}”

Virtual event
08.10.2020, 10:00 – 14:00, online

In order to be able to review the goals of the German sustainability strategy, key figures are necessary that record the implementation status of vocational training for sustainable development (BBnE). Since corresponding indicators are not yet available, the research project “Indicators for Vocational Education and Training for Sustainable Development {IBBnE}” identifies and develops indicators that can map the anchoring of BBnE in the dual vocational training system.

The research project funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research is carried out in conjunction with the Research Institute for Business Education (f-bb), the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB), the University of Applied Sciences for Medium-Sized Enterprises (FHM) and the University of Hamburg, Institute for Vocational and Business Education .

The project includes a three-part conference series, the so-called Search Conferences. In the second future conference, experts were involved in the identification and development of indicators in the dimensions of “normative requirements”, “suitability of training staff” and “examinations”. On the basis of this ESD expertise and the knowledge gained, the indicators presented are checked for their feasibility and further developed.
