In the 37th minute at the score of 2: 2 against Burnley, Hudson-Odoi grabbed the right foot. He had previously tried to stop a high ball and took a long lunge backwards. He then immediately sat down on the grass, his face pained with pain, signaling that he could not keep playing.

The injury turned out now as Achilles tendon rupture in the right foot, as the player courted by FC Bayern announced on Twitter. This is synonymous with the season off for the 18-year-olds. The Chelsea gem was used this season in nine games in the Europa League (4 goals) and ten Premier League games used.

Also Kanté replaced

In the fight for the Champions League places Chelsea must shake in addition to the loss of Hudson -Odoi and N'golo Kanté. The world champion had to stay against Burnley after the break in the cabin. He had a stroke in the first round and then suffered a muscle bruise.
