The results of the analyzes of the lifeless body are awaited to find out the causes of death.

Luisa Fernanda Gutiérrez Ramírez was found without vital signs in the bathroom of her home on 19th avenue with 22nd street north of Armenia.

Luisa Fernanda Gutiérrez Ramírez, 19, a second-semester student in the medicine program at Alexander von Humboldt University, was found dead in her home in Armenia.

The National Police reported that the death of the young woman was declared to be established, since it will be the Attorney General’s Office, FGN, through the necropsy, to establish the causes of death.

Preliminary investigations indicate that Gutiérrez Ramírez’s relatives had not heard from her since last November 10 and were concerned, since she suffered from diabetes.

It was for this reason that last Friday they went to 19th avenue with 22nd street north of Armenia, address where she lived, to find out about her, but noticing that the lady did not answer her cell phone or the calls her loved ones decided to open the lock from the door by force.

Gutiérrez Ramírez’s relatives searched the entire place and found the citizen in the bathroom with no vital signs.

The police patrol of the quadrant of the area was requested and after verifying the situation raised diabetes, a disease suffered by the young woman, as the first hypothesis of death.

The Criminal Investigation Section, Sijín, made a request to the city’s Urgencies and Emergencies Regulatory Center, Crue, to certify the death as due to natural causes, but the entity did not do so because of the way in which it was found.

Faced with this situation, the Judicial Police carried out the proper survey and inspection at the point where the body was found and then transferred it to the Calarcá morgue.
