After passing through the Mexican capital, the series of presentations will continue on Sunday in Guadalajara and on October 16 in the northern city of Monterrey.
From there, it will depart to the Dominican Republic, Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Ecuador.
The El Dorado tour began on June 3 in the German city of Hamburg and will end in Bogotá on November 3.
Shakira returned to the Latin stages sheltered by the success obtained with El Dorado, her eleventh studio work that credited her this year with a Grammy for Best Latin Pop Album, and with a Latin Grammy in 2017 for Best Pop Vocal Album Contemporary.
