we actually only know sofia vergara in comical film roles: whether in the series ‘modern family’ or in movies. but now the colombian-american actress slips into the role of drug lord griselda blanco. it is a miniseries produced by netflix.

now the streaming service has published a first photo of it.

‘griselda’ will consist of six 50-minute episodes. the series tells the story of blanco, who became one of the richest drug dealers in the world and was known for her ruthless and violent ways. the real griselda blanco is said to have been responsible for 200 murders. she was shot dead in 2012.
