Situation report on coronavirus COVID-19 in Uruguay (11/22/2021)
According to the information provided by the Ministry of Public Health (MSP), today 7,811 analyzes were carried out and 149 new cases of Coronavirus COVID-19 were detected.
Of the 149 new cases, there are 48 from Montevideo, 33 from Canelones, 25 from Maldonado, 14 from Durazno, 9 from Rocha, 7 from Colonia, 4 from Tacuarembó, 3 from Flores, 2 from Cerro Largo, 2 from San José, 1 de Salto and 1 de Treinta y Tres.
Since the health emergency was declared on March 13, 2020, 4,033,096 tests have been processed and 397,990 positive cases of Coronavirus have been registered throughout the national territory. Of that total, 389,941 have already been recovered.
Today there were no deaths with a diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 in our country. So far there are 6,115 deaths diagnosed with COVID-19 in Uruguay.
There are currently 1,934 active cases, that is, people who are suffering from the disease, 15 of them are in critical care centers.
Of the total of confirmed positive cases, 9,738 correspond to health personnel. 9,654 of them have already recovered, 56 are suffering from the disease and 28 have died.
As of today, all departments register active cases.
