Soccer – Freiburg im Breisgau – Season opening: Freiburg tests against Vallecano and Rennes – Sport

Freiburg (dpa / lsw) – SC Freiburg completed two test games in one day at its official season opening before the start of the new Bundesliga season. Coach Christian Streich’s team will first play Spanish club Rayo Vallecano at home on July 16 (3 p.m.), as Freiburg announced on Friday. After that, the duel with Stade Rennes will kick off at 5.30 p.m.

On the first day of the game, the sports club meets FC Augsburg away on August 6th. The competitive season begins almost a week earlier with the first round of the DFB Cup, in which the Europa League participants face 1. FC Kaiserslautern on Sunday.
