NEW YORK (WABC) –
Apple faces a setback on its recently released iPhones. Some people complain that the new devices are sexist.
Critics say the biggest iPhones are still too big for a woman's average hand.
Some use social media to express their frustration and complain that they are constantly dropping their phone.
Others say they are worried that the big phones will burden their hands.
According to a 2015 study, a man's average hand is one inch larger than a woman's average hand.
Three new iPhones will be released this month and next month.
Apple XS has a larger screen than last year's dramatically designed model, the iPhone X. It costs about $ 1,000.
A larger version is called the iPhone XS Max, which is about the size of the iPhone 8 Plus, although the screen size is much larger. This will cost almost $ 1,100 and surpass last year's iPhone X, which was staggering at $ 1,000 at the time.
Like the iPhone X, the new phone has a screen that runs edge to edge to maximize the display without making the phone too embarrassing. The screen does not need a backlight, so black really does appear black and not just dark.
This even larger iPhone, which will be available on September 21st – with orders opened the previous week – represents Apple's attempt to feed consumers' appetite for ever-larger screens by using smartphones to record and record video, as well as to watch TV Need taking photographs wherever they are.
