South Koreans demonstrate for peace with Pyongyang

Thousands of people protested against the government’s foreign policy in the center of the South Korean capital Seoul. They called for an end to cooperation with Washington, including all joint military exercises. Instead, they demanded a rapprochement with neighboring countries North Korea and China. The government should work towards a peace treaty with Pyongyang. The rally took place near the historic Namdaemun Gate, about 2.5 kilometers from the presidential residence.
