[Reuters]— South Ossetian leader Alan Gagloyev, who has unilaterally declared separation and independence from Georgia (Georgia), asks whether or not to join Russia, which was announced earlier on the 30th. The referendum has been postponed until talks with Russia are completed.

Former leader Anatoly Bibilov has announced that the referendum will be held on the 13th of this month and the 17th of July.
