South Zone’s Cultural Week Celebrations to Energize Neighborhoods and Encourage Participation

The South Zone will celebrate its Cultural Week from June 13 to 18 with theatre, music, festivals, community activities and a proclamation that will be in charge of the actress Raquel Bazo.

The citizen participation delegate, Ana Aragoneses, has participated in the presentation of the activities, highlighting “the enormous work of the neighborhood movement; They are the ones who energize the neighborhoods and encourage participation and also send us their demands and needs”.

Ana Aragoneses has praised the programming of this cultural week, noting that “the City Council supports these events with an endowment of 800 euros from a nominal grant for the neighborhood association.”

Tomás Liberal, president of the Association of Neighbors of the South Zone, has released the magazine prepared for the cultural week that can be accessed in digital format and has highlighted “the importance of giving value to the elderly in the slum”.

Raquel Bazo, will be the announcer of the cultural week, on Wednesday, June 14, at 9:00 p.m., and will also stage the play tales of the countesson June 13 at 9:00 p.m.
