Launched last year at the IFA, he heralded the new generation of headphones from beyerdynamic. Equipped with Tesla sound transducers, aptX HD and AAC, it presents itself as an ideal companion for audiophiles. With the sound personalization and the MIY app, it offers clear benefits that competing products can not offer.
The Berlin audio experts from Mimi Hearing Technologies are responsible for the Mimi sound personalization that is used in the beyerdynamic headphones. This calibrates the headphones to the user’s personal hearing performance. Especially in fine dynamic details and subtle nuances show advantages. In addition, the ear is still spared, because you can enjoy a little lower levels, the sensation of the volume remains similar.

Sound adaptation with the MIY app
Creating a custom profile in the MIY app requires only a six-minute listening test to create an individualized user profile. This is stored directly in the headphones. So it does not matter at which source the beyerdynamic device is connected, you always hear the individual settings. Beyerdynamic also recommends that you repeat the test regularly. Small changes in Hörvermörgen happen constantly and so the headphones are always well adjusted. In addition, you can record his daily listening behavior and make other settings on the compatible headphones. The MIY app is available for free.
