Star Wars KOTOR 2 hit the Nintendo Switch with a bug that prevented the game from being completed. The studio knows about the problem

Aspyr referred to the circulating information regarding the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II issue. Earlier this month, the classic made its debut on the Big N hybrid console, but players cannot complete the adventure.

Last week, you could come across reports that Star Wars KOTOR 2 has big problems on the Nintendo Switch. During one of the cutscenes depicting the landing on Onderon, the production completely refused to obey. Fans were unable to see the bug ending. After several messages on social media, the authors of the port reacted:

“Hi, this is a known issue and it will be fixed in the next patch. We can’t provide an estimated release time at the moment, but we’ll be sure to let you know when the patch becomes available. ”

“Yes, we are aware of this and our team is working on delivering a fix as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience! “

As you can see, even in such classics there may be a game-breaking bug that makes it impossible to completely know the story. The developers from Aspyr, however, insist that they know about the bug and focus on solutions to fix any inconvenience.

Star Wars KOTOR 2 originally made its debut on the first Xbox in 2004. It was not until 2005 that the RPG was transferred to personal computers, and two years ago a port for mobile devices was developed. The Nintendo Switch version was released on June 8.
