State buys bankrupt hotel from former football player Vítor Baía

The Low-Density Tourist Territories (TBDT) fund bought 15 of the 20 villas of the former Évora Farm Hotel, now Octant Évora, in Herdade do Perdiganito, which belonged to one of the bankrupt companies of Vítor Baía, one of the debtors of Caixa Geral de Depósitos ( CGD). TBDT is one of the funds managed by Turismo Fundos, from Turismo de Portugal, through which the State invests public funds in properties in the interior of the country.
