Sony has just finished another State of Play. There were also games aimed at PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 at the event, but it is a good time to sum up the event and evaluate the presentation of the Japanese corporation. What do you think about the titles shown?
State of Play (October 2021) – opinions of the editors of PPE.pl
Roger: The poor State of Play saved by the gameplay show from Little Devil Inside. I feel that it will be a little gem, because it looks great in action and I wait more and more with each subsequent show. The new Star Ocean was also a surprise, but it is unlikely to be a hit of the caliber of PSOne (The Second Story). The series has long since missed flights. Everything else at this show – rather to be forgotten, especially if someone has already beaten Death’s Door on Xbox.
Wojtek: State of Play was overloaded … Small items. I am not sure if this form of presentation is suitable for PlayStation fans who are used to Sony’s AAA games, but as you can see – we can take a look at such presentations from time to time. If you haven’t had a chance to play, Death’s Door is worth checking out. I had a lot of fun with this production around the premiere on the Xbox. From the whole event I’m only interested in Little Devil Inside … The rest? Something specific was missing here.
Behind: Sony popped out with the announcement of the State of Play, but from the beginning it left no illusions that we could expect loud reports – so my expectations were not too great and at least I was not disappointed. From today’s show, surely some of us would like the next news about Star Ocean: The Divine Force or the quite promising Little Devil Inside, other proposals may go unnoticed. After 20 minutes, I’m definitely looking forward to the next Japanese party and some meat – today’s appetizer just made me hungry for more announcements.
