Statistics speaks clearly against Hamburger SV
Statistically, Hamburger SV was at a disadvantage even before the start of the relegation first leg at VfB Stuttgart. In the previous 24 duels, the higher club had prevailed 18 times, the second division team only managed to climb six times.
