Sting will start touring Russian cities from Yekaterinburg

In an interview with TASS, the general director of the concert agency Matreshka Concert, Vera Borina, denied that the performer had opposed the VIP zones on her shows.

Earlier, the organizer of the concerts of the musician in Yekaterinburg and Kazan, Ivan Gomelsky, said that Sting had expressed a desire to “see in front of him a fan zone in which people could buy an inexpensive ticket.”

After Ekaterinburg, Sting is expected on November 7 in Kazan and on November 9 in St. Petersburg. In the Moscow sports complex "Olympic" he will speak on November 11. American reggae singer of Jamaican origin Shaggy (Shaggy) will take the stage along with the British singer.

Sting and Shaggy are bringing a joint album "44/876", released in April 2018. In the title of the plate the telephone codes of Britain and Jamaica are encrypted – 44 and 876, respectively. In addition to friendship with Shaggy, with Sting, Jamaica is connected with the fact that he wrote his hit Every Breath You Take on this Caribbean island. At the concerts, Sting will perform this song, as well as Englishman In New York, Message In A Bottle, It Wasn't Me, Angel and other famous compositions.

Last time, the singer performed in Russia in October 2017 as part of the 57th & 9th world tour.
