Many parents were aware of the news that was arriving from the administrations regarding the summer camps and the colonies. After multiple meetings and, taking into account that Galicia will enter or may enter phase 3 on Monday, the Xunta has already announced that there will be summer camps. The general director of Xuventude, Participación e Voluntariado, Cristina Pichel explained it in the time of Hoy por Hoy Vigo and Baixo Miño. Pichel advanced that the protocol and the health guide carried out jointly with the Department of Health is already finished. They have also received the draft of the guide from the Ministry of Health, which will be a bit of the reference framework for all the Autonomous Communities. What Cristina Pichel is clear about is that they will be different camps with more security measures, more protocols, less capacity, but it is contemplated, as in the Basque Country, that there be camps not only during the day but also with overnight stays and meals. The Xunta’s offer will be published at the beginning of next week as the Xuventude general director advanced on Radio Vigo.
