Antonio Conte led Inter Milan to achieve Scudetto this season. He succeeded in transforming the players who used to be insinuated by ‘dregs’ from England to become champions of Italy.
Inter are confirmed to seal the Italian League title 2020/2021 in Week 34. This followed Atalanta’s 1-1 draw against Sassuolo on Sunday (2/5/2021) evening WIB.
One additional point makes Atalanta now collect 69 points in second place in the Italian League standings. With four matches remaining, The Goddess was unable to catch up to 13 points from Inter in first place.
This became a win Scudetto Inter Milan’s 19th in history. Nerazzurri also managed to break the dominance of Juventus in Serie A for the last nine years.
Praise was also given to Antonio Conte as Inter coach. The 51-year-old tactician successfully led The Snake to the Serie A title in just two years since serving at the Giuseppe Meazza.
Interestingly, Conte’s Inter played by many players who had previously been deemed to have failed in the Premier League – one of the insinuations at that time was ‘dregs players’. But now Romelu Lukaku, Ashley Young, Alexis Sanchez, and Christian Eriksen have successfully transformed Conte into Italian champions.
Lukaku, Young and Sanchez were brought in by Conte from Manchester United. The three of them were considered sluggish at Old Trafford, so they were allowed to leave for Inter.

Meanwhile, Eriksen was signed from Tottenham Hotspur in early 2020. The Dane has never tasted a title in his seven years in North London.
The four players have been trusted by Antonio Conte to become the backbone of the Inter Milan squad. Lukaku, Young, Sanchez and Eriksen paid for it with the title of the 2020/2021 Italian League champions.
