San Pedro, March 18 (AIP) – Taking stock of the fight against leprosy in the San Pedro Health District, on the occasion of the celebration of the 65th World Leprosy Day, Sunday, the Departmental Director of Health and Public Health, Dr Ipo Jérémie, indicated that 16 new ones were screened in 2017. According to Dr Ipo, these are six women and 10 men. No child case has been detected and among the 16 new cases, there are three cases of infirmity.
