Tahe Outdoors invests 2 million euros in new machines

The company Tahe Outdoors, located in Vannes (Morbihan), has just invested 2 million euros in new equipment for the thermoforming of windsurf boards, surfboards and kayaks. These machines, inaugurated on April 28, 2022, will enable it to increase its annual production by 30 to 35% and thus respond more effectively to market demand. Remember that in 2021, the company chaired by Thierry Verneuil recorded a sharp increase in its activities, with 70,000 parts produced. These tools will also allow Tahe Outdoors to gain in flexibility and agility.

This investment, partially financed by equity, gives the company the opportunity to boost its growth, both nationally and internationally. Present in 90 countries, Tahe Outdoors carries out more than 80% of its activities outside France, particularly in the United States, which is one of its main outlets.

In order to claim European production, the manufacturer has repatriated the purchase of its components to Europe, which historically was made in Asia. This supply allows it to reduce its environmental footprint, since delivery times for goods are reduced considerably.
