KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Currently, there are 154 registered and licensed peer-to-peer (P2P) fintech companies, aka online lending platforms (pinjol). This figure is based on data released by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) as of November 5, 2020.
This number was reduced by one, because OJK canceled its Evidence of Registration. The fintech whose registration letter was canceled is PT Investdana Fintek Nusantara.
“There is 1 (one) fintech lending organizer whose Certificate of Registration has been canceled, namely PT Investdana Fintek Nusantara,” said OJK in an official statement, Tuesday (24/11/2020).
In addition, there are 3 fintechs added to the list of licensed fintechs, including PT Dana Kini Indonesia, PT Abadi Sejahtera Finansindo, and PT Intekno Raya. Then, there was 1 fintech that changed its name, both the application name and the website address. The fintech is PT Solusi Bijak Indonesia which was previously named Sumur.id and https://sumur.id became Saku Ceria or https://sakuceria.id.

Furthermore, OJK urges the public to use fintech lending service providers that are registered / licensed by the OJK. “Contact OJK Contact 157 via telephone number 157 or whatsapp service 081 157 157 157 to check the status of the license to offer financial service products that you have received,” wrote the OJK.
