Team5pm opens new branch, focus on YouTube advertising

YouTube agency Team5pm is establishing a new branch of the company that focuses solely on advertising campaigns on the video site.

Advertisers still largely neglect the possibilities of YouTube, according to the Amsterdam-based agency. The fact that brands still too often see the channel as a by-product and that media agencies even lump it together with online video is telling.

Ronen Wolf, co-founder of Team5pm, said: “YouTube offers advertisers the mass reach of TV combined with the depth of online data and targeting. And yet the vast majority of media buyers buy from old TV target groups, such as Messengers 20-49. A huge missed opportunity.”

The new branch will be led by Less Goes.
