The second Super League champion Beşiktaş and Galatasaray will represent Turkey in the UEFA Champions League. With Beşiktaş winning the Turkish Cup, third in the league, Fenerbahçe will take part in the UEFA Europa League. The fourth place in the league, Trabzonspor, and the fifth Demir Group Sivasspor will also compete in the UEFA European Conference League.
The double cup champion Beşiktaş will compete directly in the groups in the “League of Giants”. However, there is a possibility for black and whites to qualify. This depends on which team will win the Champions League final and Chelsea’s ranking in the Premier League.
If Chelsea, the finalist of the giants league this season, wins the cup and does not make it to the top 4 in the Premier League, Beşiktaş will have to play a qualifying round.
Galatasaray, who finished the league in the second place on average, will be included in the 2nd qualifying round in order to stay in the groups in the UEFA Champions League. The yellow-red team will play one qualifying round missing if the English team wins the UEFA Europa League final, which will be played between Spain’s Villarreal team and England representative Manchester United.
After Beşiktaş won the Agriculture Turkey Cup, Fenerbahçe, the third in the Super League, going to the UEFA Europa League, will try to pass the play-off round to stay in the groups.
Trabzonspor, which will represent Turkey in the UEFA Conference League, will participate in the third qualifying round and Demir Grup Sivasspor in the second qualifying round.
