Tec de Monterrey trains BCS teachers – El Sudcaliforniano

La Paz, Baja California Sur. (OEm-Informex) .- In order to address the challenges that the continuity of learning implies in the Context of the Covid-19 Pandemic, in the high school campuses that operate in South California, the State Secretary of Public Education managed the advice in line of specialists from the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, informed Cristina Talamantes Cota, coordinator of upper secondary education in the entity.

The official mentioned that in a meeting via Zoom, the Tecnológico de Monterrey Education Initiative team provided guidance and established a commitment to strategically accompany the activities carried out during the sanitary protection by the different instances and schools of Higher Secondary Education that operate in Baja California Sur.

Talamantes Cota pointed out that in this meeting in which the directors and academics of the high school subsystems that in Baja California Sur attend an enrollment of more than 36 thousand students were present, they were presented with strategies to establish a route towards a focus on learning essential and the reinforcement of key learning in mathematics, science and communication.

In this sense, he pointed out that they also reflected on the conditions in which South Californian students use Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and challenges were established on the application of actions that allow students and teachers a better use of these resources during the sanitary protection, as well as at the moment in which the hybrid model of return to the classrooms is decreed.
