Vienna (OTS) – The innovation experts from TECHHOUSE and Raiffeisen-Landesbank (RLB) Steiermark are launching a newly designed accelerator program for startups and those who want to become one in April 2021 in the newly built ZWI Hub for Innovators in Graz. Applications are now open.
In addition to the further development of early-stage tech teams, startups and university spin-offs, the focus is above all on the cooperation between participating young companies and established large companies. Established Austrian industrial companies from various sectors could be won as partners.
The program is divided into two accelerator tracks taking place at the same time:
On the one hand we are looking for 5 startups from the subject areas Sustainability, Artificial Intelligence, Industry 4.0, Financial Services and Health TechOn the other hand, 6 teams working on specific challenges together with the industrial partners Andritz AG, Primetals Technologies Austria, Christof Industries, the next-incubator of Energie Steiermark, the HASSLACHER Group and the Austrian Hagelversicherung.
In addition to highly relevant workshop formats in areas such as product building, financing, subsidies, business development or IP & legal, the participating teams expect valuable benefits such as free accommodation in the brand new TECHHOUSE location for the entire period of the 4-month intensive acceleration Phase, as well as the chance of an investment of up to € 50,000.00 from RLB Steiermark.
After the 4-month intensive acceleration phase, the participating teams also have the opportunity to refine their business ideas for a further 8 months in a long-term acceleration phase.

The Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG), the Know-Center – Research Center for Big Data, AI and Data-Driven Business, Human.technology Styria, the AC Styria Mobility Cluster, the Gründungsgarage, Silicon Alps Cluster, the center for Knowledge and Innovation Transfer (ZWI), the Austrian Angels Investors Association (AAIA), the female factor, and AI Austria are on board.
