Tennis: Novak Djokovic will double from Monday at Masters 1000 in Paris –

Novak Djokovic, who has not appeared on the tour since his loss in the US Open final in early September in New York, will compete in the singles and doubles tournaments at the Masters 1000 in Paris.

“It’s rare to see a world No. 1 play doubles in a Masters 1000. He’s in a lack of matches as he hasn’t played since the US Open.”, explained the tournament director Guy Forget, 2 days before the kickoff of the tournament.

Djokovic, crowned 5 times in the indoor tournament in Paris, the last time in 2019, will play the doubles with his compatriot and great friend Filip Krajinovic, also in the perspective of the Davis Cup (November 25-December 5).

We have to go back to October 2019 in Shanghai to find “Djoko” participating in doubles in a Masters 1000, already with Krajinovic.
