Terrebonne educator receives Prime Minister of Canada Award

An educator from Terrebonne received the Prime Minister’s Award for her exceptional contribution to her community.

Doreen Hogue, an educator at the Garderie educative La Rose des vents, received a Certificate of Excellence. Throughout her career, she has had an untold positive impact on children and their families.

She has invested a great deal of her personal time to renew her activities and to find original learning methods to the taste of children.

Through her inclusive approach, Ms. Hogue promotes the culture of every child. In addition, with her benevolent approach, she embodies the style of democratic intervention.

Since 1994, the Premier’s Awards for Teaching Excellence have honored elementary and secondary school teachers in all disciplines. Up to 10 Certificates of Excellence and up to 25 Certificates of Honor are awarded each year in this category.
