Tom Holland almost became a part of “Star Wars”, but he just couldn’t control himself during the casting.
In an interview with “Insider” Tom Holland spoke about his messed up casting for “Star Wars”. “It was my fourth or fifth casting for the role of John Boyega. I was playing a scene with a woman portraying an android. I was totally inside and got things like ‘We have to go back to the ship!’ and she just replied, ‘Bleep, bloop bloop, bleep bloop’. I couldn’t stop laughing. It was very funny. “
Even if Holland had fun at work, it wasn’t enough for the role in the end. “I felt bad because she was really trying to portray a believable android. Of course, I didn’t get the role. That wasn’t my best performance,” said the 24-year-old actor.
Success as Spider-Man
The role of Finn finally went to John Boyega, who celebrated his big break with it. He embodied the character in a total of three “Star Wars” films and last year put an end to his galactic adventure.
Although Tom Holland didn’t get a role in “Star Wars”, he apparently managed to convince in the casting for “Spider-Man” – he has been an integral part of the Marvel universe since 2015. He is currently working on his third “Spider-Man” film, which will also feature former and future Marvel stars.
