A new criterion

New this year will be the semi-nocturnal criterium on Friday evening from Lycée Paul-Constans, from 8 p.m., with an hour and a half of racing plus five laps.

A first step for “the tough ones”

The first stage of the TVM 2022 will start the next day, Saturday, at 1:30 p.m. The route will stretch over 118 km plus three laps of the circuit at the finish, with 1,400 m of elevation gain, between Montluçon and Quinssaines.

“A fictitious start will be from Domitys. The route of the stage will concern the north of the basin, with a tough start but also a tough finish in Quinssaines. Because of the final bump, we will be on an arrival for the punchers, the strong ones. »

Florian Vachon

The former professional runner traced the course of this 4th TVM.

A second stage mainly in Combraille

Finally on Sunday, the second stage will start at 1 p.m. between Prémilhat and Montluçon, over 135 km plus five laps of the circuit at the finish, with a drop of 1,600 m.

He also specifies that at the end of the course, cyclists will have to go up Boulevard de Courtais.
