The 6th Bundesliga matchday in the telegram, personal details and statistics – news ticker

RB Leipzig – Hertha BSC (Saturday, 3.30 p.m.)

Situation: Vice champions Leipzig are only twelfth after a weak start to the season. At Hertha things got off to a similarly bad start, but after two victories in a row there is a spirit of optimism.

Statistics: Hertha is one of Leipzig’s favorite opponents. In ten duels there were eight wins for the Saxons, and they scored a total of 33 goals.

Personnel: In addition to Halstenberg, who was missing until November, Leipzig had to do without playmaker Olmo. Defense is the problem in Berlin; Klünter, Boyata and Torunarigha are missing.

Special: Due to the personnel concerns, Hertha coach Dardai has pulled up two defenders from the Regionalliga team. So Röcker could make his Bundesliga debut at the age of 27. So far, the defender has played a maximum of the 3rd league.

Eintracht Frankfurt – 1. FC Köln (Saturday, 3:30 p.m.)

Situation: Eintracht is still waiting for their first competitive win this season. Cologne has been unbeaten in three games and is currently in good shape as seventh in the table.

Statistics: The balance between the two clubs is as good as balanced. Of the 90 Bundesliga duels so far, Eintracht won 31, Cologne won 32 times.

Personnel: Captain Rode and defender Lenz are missing from Frankfurt. The last suspended winger Kainz returns to the guests.

Special: When Frankfurt and Cologne meet, goals are as good as guaranteed. The rivals have only parted goalless six times since the Bundesliga was founded – most recently twelve years ago.

Special: Bayer talent Wirtz has had a strong season so far and has recently scored three times in a row. With three goals and four assists, the 18-year-old is the current top scorer for Leverkusen.

1. FC Union Berlin – Arminia Bielefeld (Saturday, 3.30 p.m.)

Situation: Union wants to get back on track after two defeats in the European Cup and Bundesliga. Otherwise the proper start of the season is gone. Arminia is still waiting for the first win of the season.

Statistics: Arminia never won any of the ten games at the An der Alten Försterei stadium. In the only Bundesliga duel to date, there was a 0: 5 package last year. In nine second division games since 2001, four draws were the highest of emotions.

Personnel: Union can build on Kruse and Trimmel again. The use of defense chief Knoche is questionable. The Arminia is missing Fernandez and Vasiliadis. The use of Czyborra is still open.

Special: Union attacker Voglsammer helped Arminia to stay in the class with his goals in the previous year. With the Iron he is fighting for a regular place. Bielefeld would be just right for that. “I’m just happy to see people again,” he said.

Statistics: The balance speaks for the Wolfsburg, who won twelve of the 26 Bundesliga duels so far and lost only seven.

Personnel: With the exception of a few long-term injuries, all professionals are available to both teams.

Special: Hoffenheim (since 2008) and Wolfsburg (since 1997) are now long-running favorites in the Bundesliga. Only three clubs play longer continuously in the upper house – Bayern, Dortmund and Leverkusen.

Borussia Mönchengladbach – Borussia Dortmund (Saturday 6.30 p.m.)

Situation: The third place in the table from Dortmund is feeling tailwind after four wins in five games. In contrast, the third from last from Gladbach started only once in the past ten years.

Statistics: Gladbach is the BVB. Eleven of the last twelve Bundesliga duels ended with a Dortmund win.

Personnel: BVB must continue to do without Brandt and Reyna. Schulz could return to the squad. At Gladbach, national player Hofmann is about to make a comeback. The use of left-back Bensebaini is questionable.

Special: Rose is in the spotlight. The Gladbach fans have still not forgiven him for his move to BVB in the summer. Therefore the soccer teacher has to expect an uncomfortable reception.

VfL Bochum – VfB Stuttgart (Sunday, 3.30 p.m.)

Situation: Bochum and Stuttgart could only win one of their first five games each. The VfL conceded three defeats in a row after the 2-0 against Mainz, including the 0-0 in Munich. VfB started with a 5: 1 against Greuther Fürth and then only got one point.

Statistics: The sports club has only lost one of its nine Bundesliga home games to Augsburg to date. The FCA won only one of their last twelve away games in the league.

Personnel: Freiburg is still missing right-back Schmid, who is not yet allowed to train again after suffering from corona. On the Augsburg side, Gregoritsch is fit again, Iago’s use is questionable.

Special: It is the last home game of the Freiburg Bundesliga professionals in the Dreisam Stadium, which was built 67 years ago. In future, they will play their games in the new Europa-Park Stadium in the Brühl district, which can hold almost 35,000 spectators.
