It is a “withdrawal” which the Isère family group Berthelet would have done well. This coach transport specialist, based in Crémieu (Isère), sees its “tourism” branch, whose head office is officially in Genas (Rhône), placed in compulsory liquidation. The judgment was pronounced on July 8 by the Commercial Court of Lyon. Concretely the liquidation primarily concerns seventeen employees, among the 400 or so of the group, who work in the five travel agencies of Genas, Crémieu, Lagnieu (Ain), Tassin and Craponne (Rhône).
The activity of Berthelet coaches is not concerned
With this liquidation, Berthelet remains an important transporter, capable with its coaches of transporting your retirement club on outings or your school trip. The company also remains an important partner for other tour operators, but it will no longer offer “packages” combining its transport with other transport and hotel rooms.
