The notices will be in effect until Thursday, September 22

Las rainy return this Wednesday to Valencia thanks to a dissipating DANA, on a day in which showers and storms are expected starting at noon that can be locally strong and with the possibility of hail, as reported by the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).

During this Wednesday and a good part of Thursday, September 22, there will be cloudy intervals in the northern half and the sky will be slightly cloudy in the southern half of the autonomy. The rains can be heavy in Valencia, in the interior of Castellón and north of Alicante, first in the interior and then on the coast.

In addition, variable light wind is expected with moderate intervals and with sea breezes in the afternoon and temperatures without significant changes except for decreases in the minimum in the northern third. Alicante will have a minimum of 20 and a maximum of 29; and Castelló and Valencia, between 20 and 27ºC.

In this regard, the Aemet maintains the yellow notice until Thursday, September 22 by rainfall accumulated in an hour of twenty liters per square meter -and even thirty in some specific places- and by storms that can be accompanied by hail.

In principle, the cold drop alert will last until Thursday, but both next Friday and the weekend will be marked by rain generalized and the decrease in minimum temperatures that will leave a completely autumnal postcard.
