The aid of the Board to textbooks rises 10% for the next course – Lanza Digital

The deadline to request them ends on July 14 / JCCM

18,000 students will be able to benefit from the call that has just been opened to submit applications until July 14

The Government of Castilla-La Mancha estimates that up to eighteen thousand primary and secondary school students in the province of Ciudad Real will be able to benefit from aid for the purchase of textbooks that the Ministry of Education has called.

The provincial delegate José Caro explains that the figure is an estimate and that it is 10% higher than the one calculated for the recently completed course, in which almost 13,900 Ciudad Real students have received aid for books and another 3,800 have benefited from dining scholarships.

10 percent more amount

Also, Caro highlights that the amount of aid also increases by 10%. This was approved by the Governing Council on the 14th by modifying the decree that regulates them to make it easier for families to purchase new materials derived from the implementation of the Lomloe.

Subsidies are awarded based on the income level of the family unit and the course in which the student is enrolled. Those for books can range between 90 and 240 euros and those for the dining room cover half or the entire cost of the menus.

The call for these grants was published yesterday in the Official Gazette of Castilla-La Mancha and will remain open until July 14. Applications are processed through the EducamosCLM platform.
