Benfica beat Sporting by 4-1 on Wednesday night, in the first leg of the semi-finals of the 2022/23 League Cup for women’s football, played at Benfica Campus, in Seixal.
The Canadian Cloé Lacasse, at 16′ and 42′, scored twice for the reds, coached by Filipa Patão, in the first half, with her compatriot – but player of the lionesses – Chandra Davidson mitigating for Sporting, in the restart, pointing the 2 -1 at 55′.
