THE BALL – Bucks beat Bulls and close series 4-1; Golden State Warriors also in the semi-finals (NBA)

The Chicago Bulls didn’t put up much resistance in Game Five and the Milwaukee Bucks are through to the Eastern Conference playoffs semi-finals.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and company won (116-100), in Milwaukee, and closed the series, to the best of seven, by 4-1.

The Greek scored 33 points in 30 minutes and the next opponent will be the Boston Celtics.

The Golden State Warriors started the last period of the fifth game against the Denver Nuggets eight points behind. But Stephen Curry and Gary Payton II didn’t have a sixth game in mind…

Each scored 10 points and the Warriors won, 102-98, in San Francisco. The next challenge will be against the Memphis Grizzlies or the Minnesota Timberwolves, for the semi-finals of the Western Conference playoffs.
