THE BALL – Tacuara 07, the Cardozo butchery with decoration… à Benfica (Paraguay)

Already thinking about life after football, Óscar Cardozo opened a butchery in San Lorenzo, Paraguay, where nothing was left to chance. From the quality of the products to the decoration, where a wall with an image of Estádio da Luz, where it played between 2007 and 2014, stands out.

At the age of 39, Tacuara continues to play for Libertad, where he is teammates with Lorenzo Melgarejo, with whom he also crossed paths at Benfica and who made a point of being present at the inauguration.

Cardozo left Benfica in 2017 as the foreign player with the most goals scored (172) for the club, a record that is only threatened, albeit timidly, by Jonas (122).
