An afternoon of great inspiration from the Ecuadorian Enner Valencia avoided disappointments for Fenerbahçe, who, this Sunday, received and beat Kasimpasa, by 5-1, continuing Jorge Jesus’ team in pursuit of the leadership of Galatasaray.

With a goal from the Senegalese Mamadou Fall, in the 24th minute, Kasimpasa scared the Istanbul team, until Enner Valencia came into action for a memorable afternoon: the Ecuador striker equalized with a penalty in the 37th minute, stamped the turnaround in the 39th minute and, at 52′ 59′, he completed the game, reinforcing his status as top scorer in the Turkish Superliga, with 19 goals (behind Fabio Borini, from Karagumruk, with 12!). At 90+2′, Belgian Michy Batshuayi closed the score at 5-1 for JJ’s team.

Fenerbahçe now has 44 points and remains four behind Galatasaray, who are on a path of 10 consecutive victories in the championship.
