The Board of Directors of MegaFon approved the program of exchange bonds with a volume of up to 100 billion rubles at a meeting on May 16. About it it says on the site of the corporate information disclosure center.
The bonds will be placed by open subscription, the program will last for 30 years.
Also, the board of directors repeatedly recommended not to pay dividends on the company’s shares following the results of 2017.
In March, MegaFon was advised not to pay dividends in 2018, after which the shares of the mobile operator fell by 12%, to 506.1 rubles., Having updated the historical minimum. The recommendations were made against the background of the expectation of high costs for the implementation of the so-called “Yarovoy package”. According to the adopted package of antiterrorist amendments of deputy Irina Yarovoy, operators should store calls and correspondence of users within six months, data on messages should be kept for three years.
