The Brossard brand celebrated its 90th anniversary last year, and this year celebrates the 60th anniversary of “the little sister”, Savane. Created in 1931 by a pastry chef, Georges Brossard, in Saint-Jean-d’Angély in Charente-Maritime, the brand is flourishing today in Loiret. As a reminder, Brossard was bought in 2011 by the company Limagrain. 300 employees work there on 9 production lines. And the good news is that it’s not about to stop!
The brand does not know the crisis. With a turnover of 80 million euros, it consolidates its place year after year in the landscape of elaborate pastries.
According to Jean-Marc Bigot, there is a very emotional bond between the brand and consumers; dubbed by the elders, and adored by the younger generations.
