Lyric McHenry's cause of death was confirmed two months after her death.

The EJNYC star died on August 14, at the age of 26, after being found buried in the Bronx district of New York City on the way across the Major Deegan Expressway.

Now it has been shown that Lyric – who was reportedly 20 weeks pregnant at the time of her death – died as a result of an overdose of cocaine, alcohol and heroin.

Lyric had celebrated her 26th birthday in New York when she was found dead.

After a sworn statement from E! News, a 29-year-old man was arrested and charged with concealing a human corpse and manipulating physical evidence.

Alexis Meija-Ramirez and "two other males" are charged with bringing McHenry's body across the highway.

Meijia-Ramirez is currently on bail.

Lyric is the daughter of film producer Doug McHenry and very close to her younger sister Maya and her mother Jennifer.

She was also very close to EJ Johnson, the son of Magic Johnson, whom she next E! EJNYC played.

The Reality Show, a spinoff of Rich Kids Of Beverly Hills, followed EJ's life with his glamorous friends. The series ended in November 2016 after a series.

According to Lyrics LinkedIn, she earned a degree in Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity from Stanford University, and worked as a video producer, talent agency trainee and as an associate producer for complex networks.

Lyric was laid to rest in a private funeral in September.
