For her part, the head of Alicante City&Beach Tourism Strategy, Elena Lumbreras, recalled that “last year this cycle was already a complete success and this year we are sure that it will also be as it also has more space and brings together the experiences gastronomic to musical”. “Area 12 is committed to Alicante and we support the initiative in our line of support for public-private collaboration in everything that benefits the image and promotion of the city”.

The person in charge of Producciones Baltimore, José Piñero, has revealed some figures for Area 12. “The performances will make Alicante an essential musical destination for the great musical tours in which they will host more than 120,000 attendees generating more than 8 million euros of impact direct and indirect in the city with a communication campaign of more than 150,000 euros and a budget of more than 2.5 million euros, with an expected media impact of 7 million euros”, he pointed out.

According to last year’s figures, then Muelle 12, 60% of those attending the concerts came from outside the city of Alicante. “Many people come from the rest of the province, from Madrid, Valencia and Murcia who not only come to a concert, but also take the opportunity to stay two or three days to enjoy the city and the beach,” Piñero said.
