A day of restoration of the Morne Cabri mangrove was organized last Thursday by the City of Lamentin. On the program: tree planting, installation of a temporary path and cleaning of the site.
As part of the Reciprocity program which meets the objectives of protection and enhancement of the mangrove, the City of Lamentin carries the project “Save the mangrove 2 steps away”. It has been selected by the European Union for the “Life 4 Best” program. This mission mobilizes once a month employees, called senior rangers, from 10 companies located in the Lézarde business area.
