Meghan Markle's father received death threats from the former friend of one of his closest friends.
The suspect allegedly drove past Mr. Markle's home in Rosarito Beach, Mexico, shouting, "I'll kill you, you fat F *****."
The suspect is said to have cut through Mr Markle's hoop.
However, he denies the claims.
Thomas Markle told the Sunday mail: "The first time he threatened me was after I took it [my friend and her daughter] For pizza and we were photographed by the paparazzi.
"He wrote me a text and said," I'll kick you, you fat f ***. "
"I wrote back and said," You do not even know me, what's wrong with you? Why do you feel threatened by a 74-year-old man?
"He thought something sexual was going on [her] and me but it is not.
"[She] is not my girlfriend.
"She did not push me for money.
"I helped her financially so she could come to a safe place to live with her daughter."
The threats come when Thomas Markle continues to get used to life in public after his daughter's wedding to Prince Harry.
The ex-boyfriend reportedly carried out a "terror campaign" against Markle's friend and daughter.
The incidents were reported to the police as part of an eight-page document.
The report reads, "He grabbed my neck as I twisted him as if he were choking me and I have pictures of these aggression.
He spat on my face.
"He goes to my uncle's house (refers to Thomas Markle) and tells him he's going to kill him because he keeps hiding me and threatening and insulting him."
In an interview with Mail on Sunday, the victim said, "Tom was nothing but a supportive friend.
"He was a rock for me and my daughter and I'm sorry he got involved in this violent and abusive situation.
"My daughter calls Tom" Uncle ".
"He is the most sincere and kind person I know and the most stable male figure my daughter has ever known.
"My ex-boyfriend is crazy.
"He threatened to kill me and my daughter several times and has repeatedly threatened Tom's life."
