the Delin cheese dairy gives its name to a DFCO forum

If you are going to support the Reds in their adventure in Ligue 2, you can sit in the tribune of Fromagerie Delin. For the first time in its history, the company from Gilly-lès-Citeaux gives its name to a bay of the stadium.

This company has been sponsoring the JDA basketball players for 25 years. She has already put up advertising panels at the Gaston Gerard stadium, but it is the first time that she offers herself a platform. We do not know how much the cheese factory paid for this operation, Philippe Delin, the boss of the company prefers not to reveal the negotiated amount but the club’s descent into Ligue 2 has not slowed it down:

“On the contrary, if it can allow the club to come back up, so much the better. Dijon cannot be a great national club either, it has already gone down and then climbed back up, so you have to be behind. We cannot measure the fallout from this. kind of contract, but I assume that if we do nothing, there will be no fallout. I believe that my cheese factory is at a level that can help the club, and having a platform in its name is pleasure !”

A 30% increase in turnover, unprecedented for the Delin cheese factory

La Fromagerie Delin employs 90 people and is doing very well at the moment with sales up 30% in the first half of 2021. “We were able to bounce back after the health crisis” observes Philippe Delin. “Obviously, we lost with the closure of restaurants and on our yogurts consumed in school canteens, but we have set up home deliveries and opened a new point of sale for individuals. We are in full expansion. 30% more turnover at the start of the year. I can’t believe it myself! The export is going very well. We are now able to sell in Australia and China, and these markets are demanding with a demand which doubles or triples this year! ”

Dairy Delin also helps amateur clubs like the Nuits-Saint-Georges Rugby club or the Vougeot football club. As we recall, the next DFCO match at home is this Saturday at 7pm with the reception of Rodez and it will be live on France Bleu Bourgogne.
