The DLCs planned for Final Fantasy XV in 2019 will not come out

Bad news for those who love the saga and who were waiting for the sequel to Final Fantasy XV! Of the four DLCs planned for 2019, only one will come into being.

In a special program dedicated to Final Fantasy XV, many players were waiting for new announcements for the title, including the new DLCs. But a dramatic change: while the restructuring of the Luminous Productions studio is underway, future projects for Final Fantasy XV are frozen.

[H2]A short cut for Final Fantasy XV[/H2]

Of the four DLCs planned in 2019 (Ardyn, Aranea, Lunafreya and Noctis) only the episode Ardyn will finally be proposed. The other three projects are simply abandoned. This is a radical decision, in connection with the departure of Hajime Tabata from Square Enix, and the strategy of the publisher to refocus the subsidiary Luminous Productions on another new project, with no connection with Final Fantasy.

A single DLC for 2019 (expected in March), that is a little thin to conclude this episode. We will discover Insomnia, 30 years before the events of Final Fantasy XV. A return to the past that is already possible to discover through a video teaser. Do not look at it if you have not finished Final Fantasy XV!
