The streets of Sarriguren were abuzz with excitement and bustle today at 19:00, officially kicking off the long-awaited Sarriguren Fiestas. For three consecutive days, residents and visitors will be able to enjoy a varied program of activities designed to delight people of all ages.
The kick off of the festivities was carried out by the renowned dance group Lakarri, txiki and adult. For yet another year, the citizens of Valle de Egüés have chosen this group through a participatory process. Without a doubt, this has been the year that has broken all records in terms of the number of votes. Nearly 800 have been collected and Lakarri has obtained 44%, followed by the Football Club (37%) and the groups of pipers (18%).
Throughout the three days of the Sarriguren Festivities, the sarrigundarrak will have the opportunity to enjoy a wide variety of activities designed to entertain and excite. From live music by leading artists, to art exhibits, traditional games, food and drink stalls, and much more.
